Science Lab Teacher

Position Description:
Develops and implements live and virtual Science labs and instruction in accordance with Massachusetts MCAS and New York State Regents guidelines to special needs students functioning at or below grade level at two of our distinct residential programs located in Lenox and Great Barrington, Ma. Collaborates with homeroom special education teachers to foster a safe and creative environment conducive to learning in which the students are able to achieve success based on interests and abilities both
academically and socially.

Licenses or Certification:
License in grade-level appropriate Special Education, Moderate Disabilities or Subject Area is preferred. If not licensed, must be eligible for an initial waiver, enroll in license track coursework, and make sufficient progress (Academic & MTEL) towards licensure to maintain waiver status.

Residential Clinician

Position Summary: The Clinician will provide individual and group treatment for a primary group of students. Additional responsibilities include treatment team facilitation, clinical report writing and coordination of student treatment plans. The Clinician works with the clinical support team to ensure all case management responsibilities are carried out in an appropriate timely manner. The Clinician also attends court hearings and foster care reviews for the students. S/he must be flexible and able to adjust to the daily changing demands as necessary.

Educational Requirements:   Masters degree in Counseling or Social Work. Degree must be license eligible in the state of MA.

Experience:  
Experience with children and adolescents preferred. Experience with providing trauma treatment preferred.

Licenses or Certification:   Licensure preferred. Maintain/pursue licensure and Continuing Education Units (CEU) as necessary.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, allowing up to one evening a week and one weekend day a month as needed to accommodate family work.

$59,075-$72,565 per year

Clinical Case Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Clinical Case Coordinator works closely with the Board Certified Behavior Analysts to facilitate comprehensive care and treatment services with families, social service agency stakeholders, and the multidisciplinary team at Hillcrest. Primarily Monday through Friday schedule during regular business hours however, must be able to work up to one evening per week and one weekend day per month as assigned.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services related field required. HEC Driver designation must be maintained in good standing. Medication Administration Certification. First Aid and CPR certification.

Experience: 
Technology skills for managing web-based systems, composing electronic documents, and managing video conferencing are needed. Organizational skills, schedule management, and collaboration skills are required.

School Clinician

Position Description:
Asses The Clinician will provide weekly group therapy services to all students enrolled in the trauma informed, psycho-educational classrooms of Hillcrest Academy. Group therapy services include provision of DBT skills to address school interfering behaviors, as well as psycho-educational groups addressing important topics for community safety. Primary duties also include provision of crisis assessments, crisis service coordination with staff, families, and local service agencies. Individual therapy services may be provided on a case-by-case basis. Additional responsibilities include staff consultation, treatment team facilitation, completion of various intake and psycho-social assessment tools and documents, as well as coordination of and documentation of student treatment plans. The clinician will participate in IEP planning meetings and coordinate clinical services with teaching staff. The Clinician will ensure all case management responsibilities are carried out in appropriate and timely manner, including documentation of services, coordination with families and finding agencies, and support for Family Strong Events. Participation in outside service provider meetings may be included on a case-to-case basis.

Educational Requirements:
Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work or School Psychology. Must be license eligible.

Experience:
Experience with children and adolescents preferred. Experience with providing trauma treatment preferred.
